Structure of 25G DAC high speed cable and 25G AOC active optical cable:

25G high-speed cable consists of a copper cable and two end optical transceiver devices. The connector module on the high-speed cable has similar interface with the optical module, but the connector module on the high-speed cable does not have expensive lasers, which greatly reduces the cost of short-distance applications.


The 25G active optical cable is composed of two optical transceivers and OM3 or OM4 multimode optical fibers of different lengths. The 100G QSFP28 to 4xSFP28 DAC is suitable for the interconnection between short distance and large data devices. One end is 100G QSFP28 interface, the other end is four 25G SFP28 interfaces, which can provide 100G data transmission for customers. It conforms to IEEE802.3BA standard, SFF-8665/SFF-8679, IE802.3bj and InfinibandEDR standard.


2, 25G SFP28 AOC Cable

The 25G active cable is only available in the 25G SFP28 AOC. The 25G SFP28 AOC and OM3 multimode fiber can be used up to 70m when used together with a transmission distance of up to 100m when used with OM4 multimode fiber. It is suitable for short-range data communication and interconnection applications and is a rack. The connection to adjacent racks provides a cost effective way.
